Huntington School Opportunities Trust
WE HAVE UP TO £15,000 TO GIVE AWAY EVERY YEAR – AND IT COULD BE TO YOU!
Have you got a wonderful idea that needs money to make it happen? If you are a student or a member of staff at Huntington School we can provide funding to help you.
These are just some of the things we have already supported:
- Duke of Edinburgh equipment
- staff gaining extra qualifications
- going on an Arctic Field Expedition
- trips to India and Africa to work with deprived children
- puzzle challenge for Year 7
- business diploma projects
- cricket trip to Sri Lanka
- buying girls’ rugby team kit
- running coaching courses
- guiding trip to Mexico.
We would also be interested in supporting enhancements in school like workshops, new clubs, pieces of subject equipment etc. You have the idea and we will consider it.
We don’t give funds to everyone who asks. We exist to fund things that cannot be paid for out of normal school funding. We are more likely to fund groups rather than individuals. If you are making a request for yourself we are more likely to fund you if you are doing something to match the funding. We do not fund holidays!
The Trustees will only consider applications from students made whilst they are still attending school in respect of activities which will take place during the time they are pupils and up to but not normally beyond 31 March in the year following their leaving.
The Trustees will not normally contribute financially to other charities.
If you would like to know more or would like to make an Application, please contact one of the Fund Ambassadors below who will help guide you through the application process (which is very simple) and help you make your case to the Trustees.
