15th January: Main Taster Day
Join current Huntington Year 11s and students from other schools as they explore taster sessions in four subjects and life in the Sixth Form. Book here before December 1st 2025. 

Booking for this is separate to the main application, to allow students to genuinely get a taste of subjects they are thinking about but not ready to apply for. Once you are sure about your subjects, please complete the main application form as detailed below. 

13th January: Taster Morning
For students from other schools unable to make Taster Day. Join two real Sixth Form lessons! Book here before December 1st 2025. 

29th January: Initial deadline for applications
Please ensure your application form is completed by the end of January. Apply here: Sixth Form Application Form.  Please note: later applications will be accepted, however to have your choices factored into how many classes we run and how we organise the timetable and option blocks, you will need to apply by the end of January deadline.

Early March: We will contact you at this point if our option blocks cannot accommodate your subject choices. Otherwise, you can assume your subject choices are possible. 

26th June: applicants will be invited to a further taster day to prepare them for Sixth Form life and confirm their subject choices. More details about this will be sent to applicants in the summer. 

20th August: Registration Day
After you have your GCSE results, you can come to the Sixth Form Common Room to confirm your course place and complete a fuller registration form with all the details we need. 

September: join our community and start your courses!
