Huntington School has been running Link Group for more than 35 years. It is a weekly group for senior citizens in the local area; run by a small group of 6th form students as part of their Personal Development Programme. We meet to have a chat, a cup of tea and a biscuit, but we also try to offer a range of simple activities organised by our sixth formers (such as quizzes, bingo, board games, simple crafts) and speakers (when we can get hold of them!). It is loved by both members and students alike. We meet every Weds afternoon during term time, between 1:30pm and 2:45pm. We ask for small annual membership fee of £4.50 and then a weekly 50p to go towards the cost of the refreshments.
